FAQ

Do you sell prints?

Yes, I use an online photo lab where you can make selections and choose whatever sizes and quantities you'd like.

Where are you based and do you travel?

I've been a Durham, NC resident for the past decade. Travel within 20 miles of downtown Durham is included. Beyond that, I am happy to negotiate travel rates.

When will you get your photos?

The standard turn around time for your final, professionally edited images is 21 days from the date of the shoot. Expedited delivery is available for an additional fee.

What is not included in my photo shoots?

-Raw/unedited files
-Commercial usage rights
-Prints or physical products
-Heavy retouching (e.g., body reshaping, complex background removal)
-Additional images beyond the agreed upon amount
-Hair and makeup

What is it like to work with you?

My approach is calm, collaborative and low-pressure. Most people tell me they feel nervous before being photographed, and my goal is to create an environment where you feel comfortable, confident and genuinely yourself. I’ll guide you throughout the process while still leaving room for natural moments and expression.

Do you shoot film or digital?

I primarily shoot digitally, but my background is rooted in film photography and medium format work, which strongly influences my approach to composition, light, and tone. Film photography may also be available for select sessions.

What should I wear for my session?

I recommend clothing that feels comfortable, timeless and reflective of your personality. Neutral tones, texture, and simple styling tend to photograph beautifully. I’m happy to offer guidance before your session.

What types of businesses do you work with?

I work with a variety of businesses and creatives, including: restaurants, hospitality brands, boutiques, interior designers, real estate agents, wellness practitioners, artists and small business owners.

How far in advance should I book?

I recommend getting in touch as soon as you know about your event or photo needs.
